Premier Boxing Series: 7Plus and Premier Boxing Step into the Ring in 2024

Brisbane, QLD – 01 February 2024 – Get ready for a thrilling year of boxing as 7Plus partners with Premier Boxing Series to broadcast twelve (12) local marquee boxing events in primetime throughout 2024. The excitement kicks off on Wednesday, March 27th, with LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage on 7Plus.

The inaugural event features an intense IBO World Title bout, with local sensation Taylah Robertson facing off against Gloria Gallardo. The night also promises a grudge match between crowd favorites Ben Horn and Lewis Chadwick, broadcasting live from the iconic Powerhouse Theatre in Brisbane. Australian Lightweight Champion Jalen Tait will defend his title, and fans can anticipate the long-awaited return of Beck Hawker.

This new broadcast deal marks a significant step in unearthing the biggest up-and-coming fighters in Australian boxing, ensuring that local boxing takes the center stage regularly on network television. 7Plus will deliver LIVE & EXCLUSIVE coverage of the Premier Boxing Series from March through to November. Additionally, fans can look forward to a weekly edition of ‘Outside the Ropes,’ a boxing talk show that offers a raw and irreverent discussion on everything boxing. The show will provide an inside look at what goes on not just inside the ropes but also outside the ropes, delving into the personal lives of featured boxers and some of the country's past champions.
